Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RioHire (the "Service"), operated by NearCoast OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (company number 14837948), with its registered address at Sepapaja tn 6, Lasnamäe linnaosa, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

RioHire is a digital subscription that delivers educational career-development content. After completing a short questionnaire, you receive a structured plan of daily career tasks by email, together with examples, templates, checklists and scripts you can adapt to your own situation.

The Service provides educational guidance only. It is not recruitment, placement, legal, financial or professional career-counselling services, and it does not guarantee employment, interviews, a salary increase, or any other specific result.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is not offered to, and may not be used by, residents of the United States, China, or the Russian Federation. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements.

4. Your account and information

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information (including a valid email address) and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your email address and for keeping any access credentials secure.

5. Payments and subscription

The Service is sold on a subscription basis. Pricing, billing cycles, automatic renewal and cancellation are described in our Subscription Terms, and refunds are described in our Refund Policy. Both documents form part of these Terms.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. The charge on your bank or card statement may appear under the name of that payment provider.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, redistribute or publicly share the content of the Service;
• use the Service for any unlawful, deceptive or harmful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its systems or other users' data;
• submit false information or use another person's payment details without authorization.

7. Intellectual property

All content provided through the Service — including text, templates, examples and materials — is owned by NearCoast OÜ or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the content for your own career development while your subscription is active.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your own effort, experience and the job market. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will produce any particular result.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

10. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email or through the Service before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that is unlawful or harmful to us or others.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
